Override.Properties Question
Permalink

Very quick question. I’m comparing these 2 help files. There is an asterisk * in one of them but not the other.

http://logscape.github.io/deploy-administration-appsproperties.html

http://logscape.github.io/technology-apps-bundle.html

I want to create an override.properties file for the Microsoft HPC App, so we can monitor the backup cluster as and when we need it.

According to one page, this will change all my resourceSelections to the correct headnode.

*.bundle.defaults.resourceSelection = agentID contains (headnode name)

Do I need the preceding * for each service or is that for affecting all services only? Should the following work for amending one service:

bundle.service.LiveCallIndividuals.script = LiveCallIndividuals.groovy DRSQLconfig.properties

Hi Istair

The wildcard is only necessary in scenarios where you want to apply to everything, so in your scenario "bundle.service.LiveCallIndividuals.script" should work fine.

Thanks,
Nathen
